Stocks tumbled Friday as lackluster profit reports, record high oil prices and a warning from Caterpillar that the housing downturn was spreading to other parts of the economy raised fears about the economy's long-term strength. The market turned sharply lower in late afternoon when Standard & Poor's again reduced its ratings on residential mortgage-backed securities. The Dow and S&P 500 were both off more than 2 percent. The drop was made more unnerving as it coincided with the 20th anniversary of the 1987 market crash.
Declining issues outnumbered advancers by more than 5 to 1 on the New York Stock Exchange, where volume came to 1.79 billion shares compared with 1.27 billion shares traded Thursday.
In one bright spot, Google Inc. reported stronger-than-expected profits, drawing a number of analyst upgrades.
The Dow was down for the fifth straight session and for the week was off 4.05 percent. For the week, the S&P 500 fell 3.92 percent and the Nasdaq fell 2.87 percent.
Bonds prices rose.
Copper rose, breaking a three-day slump, as the slide in the US dollar made the metal cheaper for buyers holding other currencies.

HIGHLIGHTS

- Web Site
The Company's wholly owned subsidiary, MTB (Namibia) (Proprietary) Ltd has been granted four adjoining Exclusive Prospecting Licences (EPLs), covering a total area of 3,796 square kilometers in the Hardap region of Namibia. The EPLs 3435, 3473, 3474 and 3475 have been granted with the right to explore for precious stones.
Several kimberlite pipes are known to exist within the area covered by these EPLs and the potential for the discovery of further kimberlites is ranked as very high. Recent work conducted by the Geological Survey of Namibia concluded that this area has potential to host diamantiferous kimberlites. The area lies inland and west of Meob Bay and Diamond Area 2, in the drainage area of the Tsauchab River and its tributaries. Although the present river disappears beneath the sands of the Namib Desert, its palaeochannel reaches the coast near Meob Bay. The Company believes that kimberlites contained in the EPL's have the potential to be the source for the diamonds that have been found at Meob Bay and in the nearby offshore Tsauchab leases of Bonaparte Diamonds NL.
Dr A.J.A. (Bram) Janse (PhD, Ch Geol, Ch Eng, FGS, FAusIMM, MIMMM, MCIMM, MGSA, MPDAC), who first discovered this kimberlite field, will be advising the Company on its approach to exploration in this area.
MTB (Namibia) (Proprietary) Ltd will maintain a 60% interest in EPL3435, with 40% equity being held on behalf of other Namibian corporations and an 80% equity in EPLs 3473, 3474 and 3475, with a 20% equity being held on behalf of other Namibian corporations.

Wall Street pared its losses to finish flat Thursday but remained uneasy after disappointing results from Bank of America Corp.(third-quarter profit down 32%) provided further evidence that the credit crisis is hurting the economy.
Bonds rallied and the US dollar fell to a new low against the euro after the Labor Department said the number of newly laid off workers filing claims for unemployment benefits shot up last week by the largest amount since February.
Declining issues led advancers by a thin margin on the New York Stock Exchange, where volume came to 1.27 billion shares compared with 1.42 billion traded Wednesday.
After Thursday's closing bell, Google posted a 46% jump in its third-quarter profit.
Oil prices continued their advance due to further tensions between Turkey and Kurdish rebels in Northern Iraq and the weakening US dollar. Light, sweet crude rose $2.07 to settle at a record $89.47 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Copper dropped to the lowest in four weeks as rising inventories on the LME signaled easing demand.
Gold and silver rose after the US dollar fell to a record against the euro.

Wall Street ended a volatile session mixed Wednesday as investors' concerns about sluggish housing and tight credit intensified their uneasiness over a mixed bag of corporate profits. Earnings reports from Yahoo Inc. and Intel Corp. were upbeat but IBM reported modest software sales and United Technologies Group Inc. said 2008 will be challenging.
The Commerce Department said new home construction slowed to the weakest pace in 14 years during September. Bond prices rose sharply on the news.
Advancing issues narrowly outnumbered decliners on the New York Stock Exchange, where consolidated volume came to 3.50 billion shares, up from 3.13 billion Tuesday.
Oil futures eased from a record $89 a barrel Wednesday, ending lower after government data, showing larger-than-expected gas and oil supplies, outweighed worries about tension in northern Iraq.
Lead fell to a two-week low after inventories tracked by the London Metal Exchange jumped 15 percent. Copper fell to a three-week low as inventories of the metal jumped to a five-month high. Nickel also declined.

UPDATE ON ICON'S DRILLING PROGRAMME IN ATP 626P - SURAT BASIN
Icon's drilling programme in ATP 626P is due to start with the drilling of the CBM wells with an expected spud date towards the end of the week beginning 22nd October 2007. The Mitchell drilling rig is expected to begin moving to the first location in the next two days. The first well will be Natasha No.1 to be followed by Lydia No.1.
Stitch No.1 site preparation is almost completed and the water lines have been installed. The rig we are proposing to use is stacked and ready to move and the mobilisation is to be shared between three parties. One of the parties has not yet confirmed the contract but is expected to do so within days. Until this decision is firm Icon must wait before the rig can be moved. Should the rig contract not proceed then a second rig is available for contract and we would seek to use this rig. An announcement will be made as soon as the decision is made on the rig for Stitch No.1.
While the wells are drilling, regular weekly reports will be released to the market through the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) and these will be posted on Icon's website soon after the announcements are accepted by the ASX. Special reports will be issued to announce significant drilling results as they come to hand.
Icon's working interest in ATP 626P is 100% and Icon will operate the drilling and testing programme. A map showing the well locations is attached.... - Web Site
Notification Of Upcoming Option Expiry Date and
Timeline For ASX Announcements in the Immediate Future
Frontier is focused on exploring for and developing mineral deposits in the highly mineralised Pacific ‘Rim of Fire' in Papua New Guinea, plus the Mount Read Volcanics in Tasmania.
Your Company is advancing the World Class Kodu copper–gold–molybdenum Deposit (PNG) through to feasibility and this is proceeding very well, rapidly and cost effectively. In addition, the Company has made a concerted and successful effort to evaluate and advance several other gold plus gold, copper, molybdenum, zinc and silver prospects to ultimately define additional deposits.
If not exercised, the FNTO class of options will cease trading on the ASX at 5.00pm 30 November 2007 (as required by the ASX listing rules). The share price now is slightly lower than the 20c exercise price of the options, but in my opinion this is likely to change in a positive manner in the near future. If the outstanding FNTO options are exercised, a substantial amount of capital will be generated and be used to progress Kodu to a full feasibility study (assuming positive outcomes in the Resource Estimation and Mining Study) and to continue drill advancing the Company's other highly prospective prospects.
Factors (studies and assays) to be announced to the ASX that are likely to effect the share price in the immediate future include:
I am confident in Frontier's future and urge you to monitor the Company's announcements and share price in the immediate future, with the view to seriously considering exercising the options in the weeks leading up to their expiry date (this does not constitute Financial or Investment advice). - Web Site

SPECTACULAR ASSAY RESULTS ANNOUNCED
Greater Bendigo Gold Mines (ASX:GBM) reports the level 1 drive at the Maxwells Mine has achieved its next objective by intersecting the 1994 exploration rise above one of the rich areas of underground workings within the mine.
Initial grab samples have returned grades of 1,118 g/t, 12.5 g/t and 164.7g/t.
Sampling by Central Victorian Gold N.L. reported in the GBM June 2007 quarterly report described significant grades from the rise, hence the decision to push the underground mine at the new level 1 to this area.
Location pins for samples taken in 1998 have been identified, and the preliminary results received today are from initial grab samples taken close to the CVUG 62 PIN....... - Web Site

EUCLA BASIN FIELD WORK STARTS
Image Resources has agreed with Diatreme Resources to conduct a collaborative programme of detailed ground magnetic and ground radiometric surveys over part ofDiatreme's Cyclone heavy mineral discovery in the Eucla Basin. The geophysical surveys are perceived by each party to be of benefit to provide further information onthezircon-enriched mineralisedstrands discovered by Diatreme's recent successful wide-spaced drilling. From Image's perspective the surveyswilldetermine whether the techniques are effective over mineralisation immediately adjacent toImage's Serpentine Lakes tenement boundary, and if so, map the extent of the mineralisation onImage's boundaryto allow planning of ground magnetic surveys and drillingwithin the Imagetenement.
If successful, the results of the surveyswill allow Image to focusits exploration programmeon high grade targets identified by the groundmagnetic surveys. Aland access agreement between Image and the Pila Nguru native title holders is anticipated to befinalised in November, paving the way for grant of the tenements soon after..... - Web Site

Renison to re-open as a Tin & Copper Producer
After nearly 2 years on care and maintenance the Renison mine is set to re-open as a tin and copper producer.
Metals X Limited's ("Metals X or the Company") wholly owned subsidiary, Bluestone Mines Tasmania Pty Ltd has received its permit under the Lands Use Planning & Approvals Act 1993 for the development of the Mt Bischoff open pit and the Board of Metals X has approved the development plan for the expanded Renison Project to re- start.
The Company will immediately set the wheels in motion for the re-start of the historical Renison and Mt Bischoff tin mines and Tin Concentrator Plant. Metals X will fund the project from existing cash reserves and is finalising a A$15 million debt facility with Credit Suisse (Singapore Branch) secured against the Group's royalty income assets only to provide additional working capital for the Group's activities.
The Renison Project is a key component of Metals X's Tasmanian Tin Strategy which also aims to build an integrated downstream tin fumer project (the "Rentails Project") to both reprocess historic tailings as well as lower overall residues from the current Tin Concentrator Plant.
The Renison Project (excluding the fuming project) is expected to produce approximately 8,500 tonnes of tin metal per annum with a blended feedstock from both underground mining at Renison and open pit mining at Mt Bischoff. - Web Site

Pilbara Iron Ore Project
Extensive Iron Ore Mineralisation Discovered at Multiple Locations
United Minerals Corporation NL (UMC) is pleased to announce the initial results of the 2007 drilling campaign at its Pilbara Iron Ore Project (UMC 100%).
HIGHLIGHTS
Drilling has encountered extensive iron ore mineralisation at multiple locations from drilling within E47/1429, one of three granted tenements held by UMC in the Central Pilbara iron ore province of Western Australia.
High grade mineralisation (including 20m at 61.1% Fe) has been discovered in the highly prospective Mount Newman Member of the Marra Mamba Iron Formation in a centrally located part of the target zone. This area is now named the Railway Prospect.
The Railway Prospect is open 1.3km to the east (tenement boundary), 400 metres to the west and open at depth to the south and north. Also the mineralisation is still open further to the east into UMC's Area B (figure 2).
The Jocelyn Prospect drilling has defined mineralisation persistent at depth (including 33m at 56.1% Fe) which is open to the east and south east. Further drilling is required to link up areas of mineralisation.
The Camp Hill Prospect drilling has confirmed the area as hosting high and medium grade mineralisation (including 46m at 57.8% Fe) right up to the BHP Billiton (BHPB) tenement boundary line and this UMC prospect can now be confirmed as the extension of BHPB's known mineralised body.
The Camp Hill West prospect drilling indicates widespread mineralisation (including 6m at 58.0 % Fe) that runs in a westerly direction, from the outcrop area, under cover for potentially 3km to the tenement boundary.
Phosphorous (P) levels throughout the Prospects are consistently low, being almost entirely less than 0.08 %..... - Web Site
Xstrata APPROVES Koniambo NICKEL project
Zug, 17 October 2007
The Board of Xstrata plc has approved the development of the Koniambo project, a major long-life, low cost, open pit nickel mine, metallurgical plant and associated infrastructure located in the North Province of New Caledonia. Xstrata Nickel owns a 49% stake in Koniambo Nickel SAS ("KNS"); the remaining 51% share is held by New Caledonian joint venture partner Société Minière du Sud Pacifique ("SMSP"). Xstrata Nickel will lead the project implementation and operations development on behalf of KNS and has the right to appoint the President of KNS. Xstrata's Board approval follows the recent approval by SMSP's Board of the Koniambo project.
The project development entails investment of $3.8 billion to be majority-funded by Xstrata, in return for a proportionate share of the project's cash flows in the first 25 years of operation. The project will be funded through Xstrata's internal cash reserves and ongoing strong cash flows from the Group's operations.
Koniambo will be among the world's lowest cost producers of nickel with initial annual production of 60,000 tonnes of nickel in ferronickel per annum and substantial further high-return, brownfield expansion potential. First ore is expected to be processed in the first half of 2011, ramping up to steady state production in 2013..... - Web Site

Project: Shaeffer Ranch
Prospect: Rowena Wilcox
Well: Jean H. Freeborn-1 Jim Wells County, Texas, San Isidro Development Company Operator, Antares 50% Working Interest
The Jean H. Freeborn-1 well spud on 20 September 2007, and has drilled to a current depth of 11,559 feet. High levels of gas continue to be present in the mud as the drilling continues. We anticipate drilling into the Wilcox section within the next week and continue within the Wilcox section through to the prognosed total depth of 16,000 feet.
Project: West Wharton
Prospect: West Wharton
Well: Outlar-1 Wharton County, Texas, CICO Operator, Antares 30% Working Interest
The well is shut in awaiting the pipeline connection. The operator is currently evaluating the various pipeline options in the immediate area to tie in to. Gas analysis has indicated an unusually high richness of the gas (proportion of ethane, propane, butane etc). This high calorific value of the gas will influence the pipeline choice, as the preference would be to sell into a high BTU line to get the best price. - Web Site

Wall Street fell for a second straight session Tuesday after Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke said the slumping housing market remains a "significant drag" on the economy. A National Association of Home Builders' index that tracks developers' expectations of future home sales fell for the eighth consecutive month to the lowest point since January 1985.
Declining issues outnumbered advancers by about 8 to 3 on the New York Stock Exchange. Consolidated volume came to 3.13 billion shares, down from 3.03 billion Monday.
Oil futures rallied to a new record over $88 a barrel Tuesday on concerns about disruptions to Middle Eastern crude supplies and a growing view that domestic supplies aren't sufficient to meet fourth-quarter demand.
Copper fell the most in a week after global inventories rose to the highest in almost five months.
Lead fell the most in six weeks after stockpiles tracked by the London Metal Exchange rose 15 percent.

DRILLING UPDATE - CL&F#30-1 Well (Triple Play Prospect)
TERREBONNE PARISH, ONSHORE LOUISIANA, USA
Petsec Energy Ltd (ASX, PSA; ADR's, PSJEY.PK)
Due to deteriorating hole conditions the second well in Petsec Energy's Hollywood Sand AVO Project, the CL&F#30-1 well (Triple Play), has not reached the proposed total depth of 13,606 feet measured depth and has been temporarily abandoned after reaching a measured depth of 13,163 feet. The rig has been released.
The well did not reach the planned target depths. In the Company's view it is unlikely that the AVO anomaly has been tested. While an LWD tool was used, electric line logs could not be run due to the deteriorating hole conditions.
The well data is being reviewed in the context of successful Hollywood Sand AVO discoveries made in this area. A resolution should be reached within a month to sidetrack the well or to plug and abandon. A provision for well costs to date of US$1.8 million will be made, pending that decision. Future drilling of the remaining prospects in the Terrebonne Parish Project is suspended, pending the completion of this review.- Web Site

New Acquisition In Brazil : Sapucai Gold Project
The Company is pleased to announce that it has secured the Sapucai Gold Project in the state of Minas Gerais in southeast Brazil. Sapucai (pron. Sapu-kye) is accessed by sealed roads, and lies 320 km southwest of Belo Horizonte and approximately 300 km northeast of Sao Paolo.
The project comprises ten tenements covering an area of approximately 150 sq km of metamorphosed Proterozoic sediments and volcanic rocks of the Andrelandia Complex. The project area encompasses a series of remarkably large historical gold workings, the largest of which extends for over 4 km along strike, up to 400 m in width and is on average 30 m deep.
Sapucai is prospective for large tonnage low-grade supergene gold deposits and higher-grade primary deposits. The project area contains many drill-ready targets generated by previous workers which are amenable to drilling by the Company's 50%-owned Transdrill exploration drill rig.
The area has not previously been drilled, other than by shallow auger holes, with numerous anomalous results representing immediate drill targets. These include trench samples of 36 m @ 0.63 g/t, 4 m @ 1.17 g/t, 5.8 m @ 0.91 g/t; channel samples of up to 12 m @ 0.47 g/t; auger intercepts of 20 m @ 0.33 g/t, 6 m @ 0.54 g/t; and shallow exploration shafts returning 10 m @ 0.40 g/t. In addition, several large surface geochemical anomalies (up to 1 km long; >250 ppb gold) exist within the project area and these have either been only sporadically tested by auger or not tested at all........ - Web Site

QUEENS GIFT DRILLING - UPDATE
The Directors of Deep Yellow (DYL) are pleased to announce that they have now received all outstanding assay results except Hole DQRC-0044 (assays outstanding) from the recently completed RC percussion drill programme on the Queens Gift Prospect, 75 km north of Mt Isa, Queensland.
The Directors consider that these results indicate that Queens Gift has the potential to host an economically viable uranium deposit.
Assay results from unreported holes have outlined significant widths and grade of uranium mineralisation, namely:
The drill programme totalling 47 holes for 4,930 metre was carried out over 800 m strike of the outcropping area of the 1.3 km strike radiometric anomaly with the best results coming from the Central and North anomalies (see Figure 1)..... - Web Site

PMA CHANGES NAME TO WINDIMURRA VANADIUM
The Board of Precious Metals Australia (ASX:PMA) have today announced their intention to re-brand the organisation under the new name Windimurra Vanadium Limited.
The change reflects the Company's focus on its core Windimurra Vanadium project in the Mid West of WA, which it is aiming to bring into production next year.
The proposed name change will be the subject of a special resolution of shareholders at PMA's Annual General Meeting on November 26, and is subject to the approval of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.
PMA Chairman Michael Kiernan said the Windimurra Vanadium name accurately reflected the company's focus and direction, and was already an established brand within PMA. ..... - Web Site

September 2007 Quarterly Newsletter
During the past quarter we witnessed the drilling and successful completion of the inaugural Raven well, the Spinks Middlebrooks 11-1, in northern Louisiana. This well advances the strategy of the directors of proving reserves and creating earnings through exploration. Natural gas is flowing into the sales line with first receipts from gas sales due in December. A second location is currently being prepared with drilling to begin in November.
We also drilled a further development well in our dependable LaSalle Parish Project named the Coleman No.8, adding new oil reserves. We're expecting an increase in production over time as wells are worked over and down hole pump assemblies are replaced after four past years of operation.
The first test in our Saline Point project was drilled during the past quarter and while it was commercially unsuccessful, the log had three oil shows but further testing and core samples proved there was not enough oil in place to complete the well. This result gave us valuable information in order for the generating geologist to re-map the sub surface and better identify the second location....... - Web Site

NEW HIGH GRADE NICKEL DISCOVERY AT FORRESTANIA
The Board of Western Areas is pleased to announce what appears to be a significant new high grade nickel discovery in the first diamond drill hole (WBD 18) at the recently named ‘Spotted Quoll’ prospect, 6km south of the Flying Fox Mine. (refer to Appendix for name)
Preliminary results from a 4.6m zone of primary sulphides produced an average grade of 4% nickel with values up to 9% nickel. The results are considered to be very significant and suggest potential for another nickel deposit of the Flying Fox ‘type’. The nickel grades are indicative estimates based on 46 Niton readings taken on the drill core.
Drill hole WBD 18 is the first to test a surface EM anomaly which was identified in November 2006. WBD 18 intersected 6.6m of sulphides from 118.9m down hole depth including a 4.6m zone of strong matrix sulphides from 121.0m down hole depth. The sulphide zone dips to the east below an interpreted cross-cutting granite intrusion, similar to Flying Fox. Spotted Quoll is located 6km south of Flying Fox and 3km south of New Morning/Daybreak along the same geological contact which hosts these high grade massive nickel sulphide deposits.
Preliminary analysis of the 4.6m sulphide zone was undertaken using a portable Niton XRF analyser with systematic readings at 10cm intervals. Higher grade spot readings within the sulphide zone include 6.6%, 7.5% 7.1% and 9.1% nickel. Core samples are being sent for independent assay to confirm the Niton results and will be announced as soon as possible...... - Web Site

2007 Third Quarter Operations Review.....
RANGER
Drummed production of 1,363 tonnes of uranium oxide in the third quarter of 2007 was 24 per cent more than the third quarter of 2006 due to the processing of high grade ore made available through the implementation of various water disposal measures and the optimisation of the mine plan. Whilst the ore mined was 27 per cent lower than in the third quarter of 2006 the ore grade was significantly higher. Ore milled was 20 per cent lower than in the comparable quarter of 2006 due to the planned annual shut down for mill and other plant maintenance.......
As previously reported, ERA has successfully implemented a number of mitigation strategies following the heavy rainfall event in late February 2007. Pit 3 is expected to be emptied of water by November 2007. This will allow mining of ore at the bottom of the pit and, subject to experiencing a normal wet season, production in 2008 should be restored to normal levels.
Force majeure, declared after the February/March weather event, will continue to apply to sales contracts in the first half of 2008 as the backlog of deliveries is cleared.
Long term uranium demand remains strong although spot prices have weakened. The long term market price at the end of September was US$95.00 per pound (September 2006: US$54.50 per pound). ERA's average contractual sales price is only partially influenced by the current market price due to its portfolio of contracts containing a range of pricing mechanisms entered into when the uranium oxide market was considerably weaker.
EXPLORATION AND EVALUATION EXPENDITURE
Expenditure on exploration and evaluation on the Ranger Project Area for the third quarter of 2007 was $2.8 million, with year to date expenditure of $9.5 million. Exploration continued to concentrate on improving geological information on potential resource extensions to the east of the current operating pit (Ranger 3).
The previously announced pre-feasibility study to examine options to extend the mine further and increase production from the processing plant highlighted the need to understand and define the uranium resource contained within the carbonate dominated lower mine sequence ("LMS"). To achieve this, further drilling commenced during the quarter targeting the mineralisation. The results of this drilling will form the basis of ongoing studies into the first quarter of 2008. ............. - Web Site

Stocks pulled back Monday as news that major U.S. banks will set up a fund to help bail out the credit markets stirred concerns about bad debt and as oil prices surged to $86 per barrel for the first time. The concerns about banking came after Citigroup Inc., the biggest U.S. bank, reported that third-quarter results fell 57 percent. The company said it lost more than $3 billion in mortgage-backed security losses, leveraged debt write-downs and fixed-income trading losses.
The Dow Jones industrial average lost more than 100 points.
Declining issues outnumbered advancers by about 8 to 3 on the New York Stock Exchange, where volume came to 1.29 billion shares compared with 1.06 billion shares traded Friday.
Oil settled up $2.44 at $86.13 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange as after OPEC said crude production by countries that aren't OPEC members is probably falling despite rising demand. Prices were also supported by concerns that Turkish forces will pursue Kurdish rebels into Iraq, disrupting oil supplies.
Copper rose to a one-week high as a soft US dollar made the metal cheaper for buyers using other currencies.
The International Lead & Zinc Study Group has forecast a surplus in zinc of about 250,000 tonnes next year. However, the metal would remain in deficit over the next few months.
Gold rose to the highest since 1980 as record energy costs and the weakening US dollar boosted the appeal of the precious metal as a hedge against inflation.
Macmin's objective is to consolidate its unique position as the premier silver focused company in Australia. This objective is based on our belief that rising silver prices herald a recognition that silver in the 21st Century will be a fundamental metal in technological advances and an important investment asset.
To progress that objective the Board's plan for 2008 is to:

AWE's Kopuwai-1 drilling update
AWE Ltd ("AWE") reports that the Kopuwai-1 well is has completed wireline logging at a total measured depth of 4,052 metres. Progress for the week was 1,742 metres.
Since the last report on October 11, 2007, the well was drilled from 3,876 metres to a total depth of 4,052 metres and wireline logs were run. Preliminary interpretation of logs over the zone of interest in the Kapuni F Sand interval indicates an oil column in apparent poor quality reservoir. Analysis at this stage suggests that the zone is likely to be non-commercial.
Operations to plug and abandon the well will be undertaken and the Ocean Patriot rig will be released as planned. - Web Site

BONUS SHARE OFFER TO SHARE PURCHASE PLAN PARTICIPANTS
On 5 September this year the Company advised that it would offer to issue to shareholders who participated in the Company's Share Purchase Plan offer earlier this year bonus shares in the Company. This is in recognition of the higher subscription price paid by participating shareholders compared to shareholders who participated in the later private share placement by the Company.....
The number of bonus shares being offered to you is the number of additional shares that would have been issued to you had the issue price of shares under the Share Purchase Plan been 2.0 cents per share, rather than 2.7 cents per share. Therefore the Company offers to issue to you bonus fully paid shares in the capital of the Company...... - Web Site

AMADEUS FARMS-IN TO THREE LOUISIANA EXPLORATION PROJECTS
The Directors of Amadeus Energy Limited are pleased to announce that its subsidiary, Amadeus Petroleum Inc has acquired a working interest in three major exploration projects located in central Iberville Parish, Louisiana, USA:
All three prospects are targeting fault block closures which have been identified on 3D seismic data and which are in close proximity to analogous offset production. These have the potential to contain significant reserves in the range of 3 - 5 million barrels of oil and 5 - 12 billion cubic feet of gas per prospect, at depths ranging from 11,000 to 13,500 feet. The primary objectives of the program are the sands of the Cibb. Hazz. and Nodosaria age.
Drilling will commence in 2008. Further details will be released on each prospect as the drilling date approaches. - Web Site

Outlar-1 Well Flows Gas and Condensate
Key Points
Antares Energy is pleased to announce that the Outlar-1 well on the West Wharton project has been successfully flow tested. The well was produced for a two day period on a very restricted choke, at a rate averaging around 1.7 million cubic feet of gas per day (MMcf/d) and 120 bbls of condensate per day and there was no water. The flowing pressure was in excess of 7,000 psi and steady. The rate was intentionally restricted during the cleanup phase to ensure minimum reservoir damage was caused, however it is our belief from the pressure data that the well is capable of a higher sustainable production rate. The well is currently shut in for a pressure build up and pipeline connection options are being assessed. The gas had a fairly low level of carbon dioxide and is likely to be within normal pipeline specifications. - Web Site
